While my favourite SEGA system was the Mega Drive, my first was a Master System, so I've always had a soft spot for it. Some of my favourite games are exclusive to it, such as Master of Darkness and Phantasy Star.

Was Phantasy Star a precursor to Final Fantasy? Or is it a whole different world?
